Middleborough Friends

Middleborough Friends is a group of citizens who have a primary goals to:

• Strengthen the community by planning and assisting with events which foster affordable (if not free) interaction of the citizenry of Middleborough

• Creation of scholarships for the future residents of Middleborough while remembering those who came before them

• Providing labor assistance to other community organizations through the volunteer network that is Middleborough Friends

The Friends work together to choose events and organizations to support throughout the year.  Middleborough Friends has over 40 volunteers who are prepared to work hard to strengthen Middleborough for future generations.

If your groups needs friendly assistance, contact the Middleborough Friends and see what they can do to assist you.

Middleborough Friends is a civic organization that has directly raised thousands of dollars for the senior citizens and students of Middleborough and have directly supported local food and toy drive efforts.

It has also taken on a beautification program for the town hall which it will continue with it's scheduled spring clean up of the town hall and planting schedule.

Middleborough Friends is planned Events for their 2009 year.  Look for our Spring events and feel free to contact us if you would like to be notified of upcoming events.  Look to the Events page for additional information.

News

The first Victor Sylvia scholarship in the amount of $1,000 is being awarded to a college bound senior from Middleborough High School.
