Beautify Middleborough

The beautification of Middleborough under the leadership of Friend, Mimi Duphily, is in it’s second season. Mimi has been organizing cleanups and plantings throughout Middleborough and it is noticeable.

One thing that has been happening, is that beautification is catching on and it is spreading. More and more people throughout the community are beautifying and adopting local planting beds to make Middleborough a place you can smile at when walking with your family, conducting business or passing through.

The Victor Sylvia seating area outside town hall is another part of the beautification program. Vic was a true Middleborough Friend (even before the group was formed), and is with us always. This includes a brick seating area with two granite benches. A tree will be planted to provide a little shade and a nice place to sit and think about the wonderful community that is Middleborough.

If you wish to donate to the seating area, you may send a check to: Middleborough Friends and write Vic Sylvia Park in the memo area.

If you would like to adopt a bed and help maintain the beauty of Middleborough, please contact the Friends. We could always use more hands.
